Learn how to incorporate theater activities into your classroom and program activities.

Details

Improve attendance and other behavioral challenges with the interactive approach to problem solving with WMassSocial Action Theater. Discover creative ways to get through to struggling students. Develop an environment of mutual support and enthusiastic participation in the classroom. Participants will take part in theater games that will result in presenting their own scenario. As a bonus take away new ideas to be applied immediately in the classroom. Handouts will be provided. (Please note that this is a longer version of what they presented at Network 2008 so there will be some overlap if you attended that workshop.)

Presenters Bio

The Western Mass Social Action Theater has been in existence for 15 years. They have performed at a variety of adult basic education programs and conferences throughout the state and New England. Gene Gramarossa, Group Manager, has been with the group for nearly its entire existence.
