- This event is open to anyone wishing to get started using Microsoft Excel.

- MS Excel can be a tremendously useful application but has an interface that can be off-putting to the casual user. This training will introduce participants to navigation, data manipulation including calculations and functions, charts, and ways it could be used in class or in a program.

- Understand basic technology associated with Excel
- Start the Excel program and open sample files on a diskette
- Perform the basic functionality of each example on the provided diskette, such as:
- Resize columns and rows
- Basic formatting: font & color
- Simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Creating a simple budget
- Creating a chart uding the chart wizard
