Overview
Using the Curriculum Frameworks to Develop Program Wide Curriculum - A 2-Part Workshop
Details
This two-part workshop will first familiarize you with the components of an exemplary curriculum and then orient you to the Massachusetts ABE Curriculum Frameworks. You will then learn how to use these and other resources to develop a program-wide curriculum in manageable stages. You will evaluate where your program is in regards to the curriculum development process and then learn how to use the frameworks in ways that best fit the needs of your program. You will also develop a draft action plan to guide further curriculum development at your program. There will be ample time to generate draft materials (both an action plan and curriculum documents), share materials with fellow participants, and critique them for revision.
