Details
How do we create or enhance conditions in ABE programs that help to increase learner persistence? Why is it important to do so? Why do some activities and efforts work with some learners and not others? This workshop is based on a longer, study-circle model on the topic, created by NCSALL (The National Center for the Study of Adult Literacy and Learning). You will gain practical ideas to use in your classrooms and programs that will impact learner persistence. In addition, we will look more in-depth at the concept of self-efficacy, one area of improving learner persistence.
