By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- name five qualities of good teaching/supervising
- name and practice 2 actions that good teachers and supervisors do to create an environment that supports effective learning and best work
- describe their awareness of the unconscious nature of culture and its effect on behavior and thinking in a learning and working environment
- explain their understanding of the experience of learning and working in a non-native environment -- and of what it takes to learn and work well.

- Presenters Bio
- Kate is the founder and principal of CultureWorks Consulting. She holds a doctorate focused on intercultural communication and an M.A. in intercultural management and a B.A. in conflict resolution. She has provided training to teachers and managers in cross cultural communication, multicultural group dynamics, and conflict resolution throughout New England.
