Description:
This workshop will focus on identifying possible learning disability characteristics in an ESOL learner, reviewing case studies of learners and developing strategies for assisting a suspected LD learner.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify learning problems that interfere with their ESOL students' learning that are NOT learning disabilities.
- Use some simple tools that will screen for a learning disability.
- Name specific strategies for working with learning disabled students in his/her ESOL classroom.
