- Overview
- ESOL teachers learn how to write lesson plans that are valuable to themselves and their students and consistent with ACLS guidelines.
- Details
- The workshop begins with a discussion of the purpose and value of written lesson plans, as well as the challenges of developing them on a consistent basis. Presenters provide an overview of the components of a good lesson plan and a step-by-step process for putting the components together. Using templates and guidance from The SABES Lesson Planning Guide, workshop participants write sample lesson plans that incorporate all of the components.
