- Overview
- The SABES Summer Institute for Directors will be an opportunity to reflect on the job of the ABE director, to develop skills, and to interact with other directors. New and experienced directors as well as other staff with administrative and supervisory responsibilities are invited.
- Details
- The two-day SABES Summer Institute for Directors’ offers a unique opportunity to gather in a relaxed atmosphere with fellow ABE administrators. This year, Institute activities are designed to support directors in embracing their strengths while honing fresh ideas to face new (and many familiar) challenges. Each day starts with a guest speaker, sharing insights, with humor and wisdom, which honor our commitment to serving adults needing educational programs. Participants will leave the Institute with a stockpile of useful ideas and creative solutions to ongoing management issues, as well as a sense of possibility. Preference will be given to those able to attend both days of the Institute. HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: Hotel accommodations are not covered by SABES; however, as a courtesy, hotel rooms have been reserved at a reduced rate at the Hilton Garden Inn, 35 Worcester Center Blvd., Worcester (508-753-5700). Please note that the 25 rooms are being held only until July 16, after which you may be required to pay the full price for your room.
