Writing Basics for ESOL and Pre-GED learners

At last, a writing workshop developed for ESOL and Pre-GED learners!  Sarah Thomas has been an ESOL instructor and is an English Teacher with the New Bedford School system.  She not only understands the needs of your learner she also knows the challenges you face.  Sarah will demonstrate hands-on writing activities, techniques using non-fiction texts to create writing prompts and other tools to help your learners become confident successful writers.

Presenters Bio
Sarah Thomas is a Graduate teaching fellow at Boston University and holds a doctorate in curriculum and teaching. She has taught ESOL classes in Europe and in the United states. She has published several articles on teaching and curriculum and has a Massachusetts Educator’s license in English.
