- This will be an online course; please read the prerequisites (of this announcement) for technical requirements. This course can be taken at anytime of day or night, and from anywhere in the world with Internet access! So relax and enjoy the ride! This course will show you exciting technologies that you can easily integrate into your curriculum.

Using videos, websites, Voki's, VoiceThreads, and lots of other technologies, this course will help you understand how to get started using exciting technologies. You will be able to pick and choose which topics you are interested in from the numerous topics available. The subjects will range from building simple websites to creating VoiceThreads (which are an exciting new method of teaching using technology). The following links are teasers that will give you an idea of how the course is presented and what some of the content will be! Copy & paste them into your browser. Remember that these are only ticklers and that when they ask you to click on a blue link, those blue links are only available to you when you actually take the course.

- This course will require that you register at moodle.literacytent.org. This is a non-profit website for Massachusetts ABE programs and will not require any personal information. Instructions on registering and getting started in Moodle will be sent to the people who register for this course. You will need the following technical requirements: - PC with Win XP or better (Macs should work with all except one or two Windows Media Files) - Internet connectivity with reasonable speed (you will be downloading 12M videos) and Adobe Flash Player with is standard on most installations.
