- Overview
- In this session you will learn specific techniques for teaching adult LD learners to read and write, as well as techniques for teaching and supporting them in the subject areas. Additionally, you’ll consider the function and importance of rhyme in English acquisition with an introduction to using it in the classroom. The workshop will also entail participants learning to construct multi-sensory activities to provide classroom practice in a variety of phonics and grammar tasks. By the end of the session, you’ll have some skill in creating activities that can be used independently by your students to reinforce classroom learning.
