- Overview
- Despite high school experience and/or completion of the GED test battery, many students arrive at the community college without the reading and math skills needed to succeed in college work. In this interactive training, participants will learn about and have the chance to experience the College Placement Test – ACCUPLACER, the test used to evaluate students who may need developmental courses at the Community College. The presenters will compare the test structure and purposes to the GED components, and provide resources for instructional models to prepare students for this placement exam.
