Upon successful completion of the series, participants will be able to:
1. effectively navigate the Massachusetts ABE Curriculum Frameworks
2. define the components of a "basic" and an "advanced" curriculum as defined by ACLS policy
3. assign particular Curriculum Framework standards and benchmarks to specific classes in their program
4. identify which standards/benchmarks they are currently addressing in their classes and which they are not
5. describe and compare "Front On" and "Back In" approaches to curriculum development
6. demonstrate how skills development can be addressed through different knowledge content as suggested by student goals and interests.
7. develop a draft plan to develop of a basic curriculum at their program.
