Overview
This is a second follow up session to January 26, 2010 offering. At this second session programs will share developments initiated as a result of the first session. Action plans will be reviewed and guidance offered as to further on site professional development in the area of program wide curriculum components.

Learning objectives

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1) define the components of a “basic” and a “beyond the basic” curriculum as defined by ACLS policy;
2) effectively use the Massachusetts ABE Curriculum Frameworks to develop curriculum;
3) examine and apply approaches appropriate to their program for developing curriculum (“Front On” or “Back In”);
4) convert student-generated themes into manageable instructional
