- Overview
- Problem solving strategies may be one of the most critical skills we can help our students develop. “Word Problems” can pose particular challenges as people attempt to decode both the math and the language that are part of these problems. We will apply key word, graphic organizing, estimation, finding a pattern and other strategies to solving word problems ourselves. We will outline areas of common difficulty and methods that can be used to both increase the level of adult numeracy and pass the GED.
