As a result of Session One Workshop, paricipants will:

describe at least two fraction activities that make fractions accessible to many levels of students;
identify at least two models for representing fractions and percents;
use at least one model to picture operations involving fractions or fraction answers;
explain four interpretations of fraction symbols (as a division problem; as a part-whole relationship within a measurement, a set, or an area; as a number; as a ratio)
