- This workshop is for those who are new to working with spreadsheets, or those wanting to improve their basic Excel skills.

- Intro to Excel begins with an overview of Excel (terminology, toolbars, navigating), and introduces basic Excel features such as entering various types of data, working with formulas and functions, formatting a worksheet, printing and creating a simple chart.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will:
- Understand basic spreadsheet teminology such as, worksheets, cells, rows, columns, formulas and functions
- Be able to open, navigate, save, and print and existing Excel spreadsheet
- Be able to create and format a simple Excel spreadsheet with formulas
- Be able to insert and sort worksheets, columns, rows and cells
- Perform simple calculations with formulas and functions
- Be able to create a simple chart from existing information
