- Overview
- ADA Coordinators, Counselors, Teachers, and others are invited to this sharing group. The topic for this meeting will be to learn about the role of the Disability Navigator at One-Stop Career Centers. Prior to meeting the Disability Navigator, we will spend an hour having an open roundtable discussion with Jackie Fletcher concerning any questions or issues you may have related to ADA regulations.

- Please join us to meet Terrance Throwe, the Disability Navigator at ValleyWorks Career Center (Lawrence and Haverhill). We will learn about the services he provides and who is eligible to receive them so that we may make appropriate referrals. This session will be particularly useful for counselors to attend.

- Terrence Throwe, Disability Program Navigator at ValleyWorks Career Center (Lawrence and Haverhill). Terrance transitioned into adult services at ValleyWorks in Jan. 2007. Here, he utilizes his prior professional, personal experience along with his education (BS Speech Pathology and MS in Child Care Admin.) to identify referral sources and recommend appropriate services for the clients he sees. His focus is to help job seekers understand their rights and become their own best advocate. He shares with all who see him the issues he has faced in his career due to his own hidden disabilities (Seizure disorder, restless legs syndrome, depression).
