Description: This study group focuses on issues of persistence among adult learners. The course follows a seminar model in which a facilitator guides participants as they read and discuss selected literature on persistence and explores ways to apply this knowledge to keeping their own distance students engaged. This course is for second year CALC staff only, is limited to the first 15 participants and is limited to staff from Distance Learning funded ABE programs only.

A neat web tool that allow video camera recording and slideshow creation, but what makes this tool different is that allows other multimedia interactivity, so students could use their cell phones to respond or critique what is in the slide show.
