Click on the register button to sign up for this event.
- Overview
- The goal of the Rassias Method® (RM) is to make the participant feel comfortable and natural with the language in a short period of time. This is accomplished through a specific series of teaching procedures and techniques which seek to eliminate inhibitions and create an atmosphere of free expression from the very first day of class. The RM of language instruction places the participant at center stage and seeks to replicate the relevant, life-like situations encountered in the target language. This workshop will demonstrate a wide variety of RM based teaching techniques that work to enhance the acquisition of English, and which have proven to be effective for instruction in all languages. Teachers will receive descriptive materials of techniques demonstrated and will have hands-on experience in classroom activities that use movement, sound, rhythm, and motion to facilitate student learning.
