Overview
Providing information on what's available for adult learners beyond their ABE program is a powerful tool to help students identify, develop and achieve their education, community and employment goals. Too often, choices of training programs and postsecondary education are greatly influenced by advertising and incomplete or misleading information. By taking a close look at the comprehensive services offered free by the Educational Opportunity Centers and by learning the right questions to ask when shopping for a next step our students will be able to avoid common pitfalls and difficulties as "next step consumers".
