- This 3.5 hour class is designed to help take what you know about technology, and put this knowledge to use with your students in both ESOL and ABE class rooms. This is not just a technology skills class but a way to explore how to apply this stuff in class with content you already have. Also it will help you apply it in a way that benefits all students including those with potential Learning Disabilities.

- This 3.5 hour class is designed to help take what you know about computers and basic office programs, email, internet and multimedia, and put this knowledge to use with your students in both ESOL and ABE areas. This is not just a technology skill class but a way to explore how to apply this stuff in class with content you already have. Also it will help you apply it in a way that benefits all students including those with potential Learning Disabilities. What are simple lessons that you can develop that can help you get your students learning more and feeling more confident in front of the computer? Take your existing lessons and figure out interesting ways to add learning technology into the mix. Also we will look briefly at various web sites that can be helpful to students as well. Open to teachers and staff with all levels of computer experience.

- After successful completion of this class users will be able to: 1. Able to help first time computer users in class or lab 2. Able to use web resources in class with your student 3. Able to design a simple lesson plan outiline that uses some Universal Design concepts integrating a new technology not used before 4. Able to assess various technology tools for best application to your needs
