After completing the 2-session workshop, participants will be able to:
1) Understand the benefits and importance of enhancing ABE programs by partnering with businesses.
2) Identify the kinds of businesses that make appropriate ABE partners.
3) Use proven communications tools and techniques to approach potential businesses with comfort, confidence and effectiveness.
4) Identify funding sources to support adult basic education programs (i.e. Workforce Training Fund, DOE Workplace Education funding, Commonwealth Corporation, etc.). - Presenters
