- Overview
- Do you want to help parents in your ABE program understand the Reader Workshop model that is being used in the Boston schools? Do you want to motivate the fathers in your program to read to their children? In this workshop, the presenter will share two workshop outlines that she developed for parents of K-5 grade students in the Boston Public Schools. She will walk you through each workshop, and then in small groups you can adapt them to your particular situation. This workshop can be useful to both teachers and counselors.
