Description:
During this two-part workshop, teachers will learn about how to teach GED-based math through creative projects that use an integrated skills model that incorporates social studies, science, reading and writing skills. Teachers will be encouraged to experiment with this model in their classrooms after the first workshop, and then return to the second workshop willing and able to share what happened.

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Identify several techniques and sources for creating projects for GED math instruction;
Implement projects that build skills for GED students attempting to pass the GED;
Apply activities that develop teaming skills necessary for project-based learning
