Overview
This single-session workshop is intended for DOE-funded program administrators who need a review of ABE program design, rates, flex and foundation services, FTEs, contact hourly rates, etc. It will provide an update on changes for FY09 and review other aspects of the program design process.

Learning objectives
After completing this activity, participants will be able to: 1) Understand the changes for FY08 ABE Program Design. 2) Understand the purpose of each of the following personnel-related elements of a Program Plan and how each element can help the program to utilize the funding provided in the ABE Rates System: staff salary, staff salary analysis, personnel prototype and summary sheet. 3) Understand all aspects of the program design process for refunding.
