Overview
Introduction To Computers for Teachers and other ABE Staff This hands-on session is an essential course for teachers and other people working with computers on the basics of using a PC personal computer. Also recommended for more experienced users who want to brush up on the basics. This workshop will allow you to take control of your computer and have fun doing it, rather then having it control you.

Introduction To Computers for Teachers and other ABE Staff This hands-on session is an essential course for teachers and other people working with computers on the basics of using a PC personal computer. Also good for more experienced users who want to brush up on the basics. This workshop will allow you to take control of your computer and have fun doing it, rather then having it control you. In this workshop you will learn: : about the parts of a computer and how they affect your work, the difference between Operating System, Application Program and Data, Take control of your desktop environment and organize it to your working style, and also acquire the skills to teach your students computers with more confidence. This workshop is being offered as part 1 of a 2 part course. Maybe taken as a stand alone workshop or as a series. Part 2 will cover Using Microsoft Office. Both classes will offer tips on how to teach this material to your students as well.
