Massachusetts Adult Proficiency Test (MAPT)

- Overview
- There ae four different components of the MAPT: the first enables learners to brush up on basic computer skills (#1 in graphic), a second and third give learners practice in answering reading or math questions before they take the MAPT (#2a and 2b in graphic), and the fourth is the MAPT for Reading or Math itself (#2c in graphic).

As a result of participating in this MAPT training, participants will:
1. understand the basics of standardized assessment
2. be able to accurately administer the MAPTs forĀ both reading and mathematics
3. understand the importance of sample questions and practice questions
4. be able to interpret MAPT scores.
