ABE Counselors' Sharing Group Meeting (II) (Bos)

Description: At this sharing group meeting, we will share our experiences working with learning disabilities. What are our responsibilities regarding accommodations? Are there tools that we can use to screen for learning disabilities? How can we work in partnership with the teachers in our program to provide the best learning environments? What kind of help can we expect from state agencies such as DTA, Mass Rehabilitation, etc.? What accommodations can DOE provide for GED testers? Come and share your thoughts on these and other issues. What works for you? What doesn’t work? Share your strategies and learn what has worked for other counselors.
