Description:
Following a highly succesful first year, the ALRI/Greater Boston SABES is recruiting teachers for the second year to form a cohort and commit to 10 hours of professional development in the teaching and learning of math. Those who participated last year, as well as newcomers with all levels of experience are encouraged to participate in this year's Teacher to Teacher (T2T) which are designed to help practitioners increase their competence and confidence in creating and adapting math lessons.

Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
Develop at least two complete math lesson plans with activities;
Identify key elements of lesson plans;
Recognize properties of mathematical problems and activities;
Design a math lesson plan that meets DOE guidelines;
Design a math lesson plan that aligns with the Curriculum Frameworks.
